About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse (RN)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1.5 years of current Labor & Delivery experience in a hospital setting

License : Valid Iowa State License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP

Must-Have :

• Completed one travel contract in the previous 12 months
• Ability to float across all campuses
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics, antepartum, c-sections, and vaginal deliveries

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

You will work in a unit with a bed size of 45, providing individualized care to a diverse range of patients.

Patient ratios will be maintained at 1 : 1-2.

Experience with drips including magnesium, insulin, and pitocin is required.

You will be required to work every 3rd weekend and participate in holiday rotations as scheduled.

Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
