JOB SUMMARY :

The main responsibility of a Slot Technician is machine installation, preventative maintenance, service, adjustments, and repairs to casino a lot and other coin operated and electrical machines. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Evaluates machines which fail to perform to expectations
Check all gaming related equipment for evidence of cheating or mechanical malfunction
Coordinates with other slot technician shift to ensure maximum performance of the technician team on duty.
Perform duties as assigned
Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, or bottles left on floor by guests.
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in ethical manner
Outstanding example of and a credit to Saracen Casino Resort

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.

High School diploma or equivalent required

Possess strong supervisory skills, professionalism, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to interpret and implement technical instructions

Ability to multitask

Knowledge of various internal written, and written and verbal codes / abbreviations

Professional appearance

Team player

Strong electronic experience professed

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino and be able to respond to visual and aural cues

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items

Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations

Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke

Must be able to walk and be on feet for a long period of time
