We are seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join our growing team. If you're passionate about making a real difference and want to be part of a firm that prioritizes client care and professional growth, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 150 workers' compensation cases.
  • Draft and submit settlement demands with supporting documentation.
  • Negotiate claims with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties.
  • Respond to discovery requests thoroughly and within required timelines.
  • Conduct depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts as necessary.
  • Represent clients during court appearances, including hearings and motions.

Qualifications

  • Self-starting and independent thinking
  • Strong research skills
  • Professional and highly motivated
  • Advanced technology skills for a paperless environment
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • 0-3 years of workers' compensation experience
  • A commitment to exceptional client service
  • Top quality writing skills; strong academic credentials
  • Commitment to jury trials and appeals
  • GA Bar license required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school; admission to the bar of the state in which practicing and in good standing
  • Effective supervisory and leadership, organizational and critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making ability
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff
  • Demonstrated integrity in confidential matters
