2XKO is Riot's League-IP take on a competitive fighting game. As a QA Engineer II, you will work with other developers on your team to ensure outcomes reach quality goals. Guided by Riot's Test Policies and the product's test strategy, you will ensure the execution of quality activities at every stage of the software development lifecycle. You will work with other Quality Leads to find more efficient solutions to everyday problems, improving delivery and overall product quality. You will report to a QA Manager.

Responsibilities :

  • Create, manage, and operate the test plan(s) for the team.
  • Manage and evaluate testing efficiency and effectiveness within your team.
  • Apply established test strategies and processes to your team's operations.
  • Improve methods of test execution at the team level.
  • Work within engine development tools to assess and give feedback on content and features as they're created.
  • Collaborate with different disciplines to understand their work and incorporate it into decisions that improve quality.
  • Guide and monitor all testing for the team.
  • Coordinate with external testing vendors and provide feedback on effectiveness.
  • Identify, analyze, and escalate risks to your team and your Initiative Quality Lead.
  • Analyze and report on the product's quality status to the team's product lead.
  • Work with the Initiative Quality Lead to ensure the team meets quality standards.

Required Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of professional embedded Quality Assurance experience.
  • Experience designing and executing test plans.
  • Managing components of a defect database.
  • Tasking remote testers and providing feedback.
  • Experience working on a product development team.
  • Creating custom reports on test coverage, defect data, and risk.
  • Using creative problem solving to improve processes.
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Passion for Fighting Games and the FGC.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine tools.
  • Development experience on Console and PC.
  • Certifications : ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester, ISTQB Expert Level, ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST), ICAgile Test Expert (ICE-AT).

    Salary range in Los Angeles : $51.14 - $71.99 USD + incentives, equity, 401k match, insurance, disability, and PTO.
