Bus Aid

Our client, an educational organization dedicated to student safety and support, is seeking a Bus Aid to join their team. As a Bus Aid, you will be part of the transportation department supporting the safety and well-being of students. The ideal candidate will have patience, attentiveness, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Bus Aid

Location : MARION, IN

Pay Range : $11

What's the Job?

  • Assist students with boarding, seating, and exiting the bus safely.
  • Monitor student behavior and ensure adherence to safety rules.
  • Provide support to students with special needs, including securing wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
  • Communicate effectively with the bus driver and school staff regarding student needs or concerns.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in all situations.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass background checks (CLEAR background) since you are working in a school setting.
  • Ability to perform emergency procedures when necessary, including evacuation drills.
