About The Position

Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Location : Greenville, SC

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (06 : 50 - 19 : 20)

Job Responsibilities :

Assist in surgical procedures with a primary focus on vascular, trauma, and general surgeries.

Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.

Maintain sterile environment throughout procedures using aseptic techniques.

Handle and label surgical specimens accurately.

Provide intraoperative technical assistance to the surgical team, including passing instruments and supplies.

Participate in emergency and trauma procedures, including gunshot / stab wounds and amputations.

Support specialized cases such as Aortic repairs, Endovascular procedures, and Carotid interventions.

Take 2 days of on-call per week and 1–2 weekends every 6-week schedule as required.

Float to qualified units, when needed.

Required Skills & Experience :

Valid CST certification from NBSTSA

AHA BLS certification (required)

Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience (vascular and trauma strongly preferred)

Prior travel experience (required)

Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center (required)

Teaching hospital experience (required)

Epic EMR experience (required, 1+ year)
