Assistant Tenure Track or Visiting Professor in Marketing

Position Description

The College of Business at Valparaiso University invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Marketing (https : / / www.valpo.edu / college-of-business / ). Located an hour southeast of Chicago on a 310-acre campus, Valpo is a comprehensive liberal arts university with around 2,500 undergraduate and graduate students. Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in marketing with a primary teaching focus on marketing management, our junior-level marketing course required for all business majors. Candidates can also be expected to teach courses in buyer behavior, digital marketing, and / or marketing analytics. Prior teaching experience that demonstrates effectiveness in both in-person and online settings is highly preferred. Candidates holding doctoral degrees in related fields and relevant teaching experience may also be considered. This position is scheduled to start in August 2026.
