Focus Interpreting is seeking a qualified CART Interpreter to join our team. As a Communication Access Real-Time Translation (CART) Interpreter, you will provide real-time transcription services for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring equal access to spoken communication in various settings.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Deliver accurate and timely CART services in educational, professional, and public setting environments
- Employ specialized CART equipment and software to transcribe spoken words into text in real time
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism during all interpretation sessions
- Continuously refine transcription skills and knowledge of various subject matters to effectively serve clients
- Collaborate with clients and other professionals to customize CART services based on specific needs and preferences
