Locums Nephrologist - Bloomington, IndianaCall-Only Long-Term Need Starting 12 / 22 / 2025 Assignment Details

  • Start Date : December 22, 2025

Duration : Ongoing into 2026

Schedule : 24-hour in-house call shifts

Looking for coverage 1-2 weeks per month

Call Response Time : Within 30 minutes

Call Only - no clinic

Trauma Level : III Clinical Responsibilities

  • Daily multidisciplinary rounding with hospitalist and ICU team

    • Patient Census : 20-35 total patients

    New Consults : 2-3 per day

    Dialysis Unit : 4-bed inpatient unit

    ED Call Coverage Included

    EMR : Cerner

    Provider Communication : Backline app

    Strong hospital support :

    Interventional radiology

    Vascular access team

    Highly capable nursing staff

    Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology

    • Fellowship in Nephrology - Required

    Active Indiana Medical License - Required

    Certifications Required :

    BLS

    Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced nephrologist seeking low-volume, meaningful call work

    • Comfortable with ED consults and hospital-based dialysis

    Team-oriented and communicative
