Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Rochester, NY 14621 Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Job Unit : Medical Surgical Telemetry (Med / Surg Tele) Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 21 / 2025 - End : 3 / 22 / 2026) Patient Population : Adults & Geriatrics Weekend Coverage : Required Orientation : 24 hours Estimated Weekly Salary : $1890 - $2020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience Active New York Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission) Previous travel nursing experience required EPIC EMR charting system experience (required) Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from Rochester facility Charge nurse experience preferred Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med / Surg Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias Administer blood products and manage cardiac drips (no titration) Provide central and peripheral line care and management Utilize rapid response and code teams as needed Implement isolation precautions and non-invasive airway management Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, PT, RT, Pharmacy, and more Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR Float to other hospital units as required Grow your nursing skills and experience in Rochester, NY—one of the best cities for New York healthcare jobs.
