Weco is a value-added single-source contract manufacturer of machined components, finished fabricated sheet metal, and assembled metal products. Our three facilities encompass all aspects of metal product manufacturing including our own on-site finishing with powder, paint, and graphics capability. We serve the OEM Industrial, Healthcare / Medical Device, Aerospace / Defense, Renewable Energy, and Electronics by manufacturing both conventional and the most technically demanding items. SUMMARY : Responsible for operating designated machine, reads and interprets shop orders to determine production methods, and sequence of operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• De-Burrs parts before final inspection to print requirements.
• Operate machines per set-operator or programming direction.
• Complete shop orders as defined.
• Communicate with operators from other shifts.
• Maintain and secure work tools.
• Clean and maintain work area.

OWNER / MANAGER INTERACTION :

Daily reviews current issues with owner and directly affected personnel.

Indentifies machinery and equipment deficiencies and defects and forwards set-up operators

Communicates with set-up operators with questions or issues.

Verifies that all parts meet specification and reports deviations to Director of Ops or Quality.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE : High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one (1) year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic reading, writing, and some advanced arithmetic skills required. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
