We are looking for an experienced and driven Technical Project Lead with 8+ years of experience to join our AI applications team. This is a fully remote position for candidates in the continental U.S., with work hours aligned to the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. You will be instrumental in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to final delivery, creating AI-powered software products that aid military commanders and business leaders in making mission-critical decisions. The ideal candidate will have exceptional algorithmic and problem-solving skills, and a strong background in software engineering, enabling them to make an immediate impact on our projects. We are committed to providing you with the necessary tools and training to produce world-class software.

Responsibilities

• Technical Project Leadership : You will be the technical lead for 1-2 projects and will need to help design, architect and develop its codebase. In addition, you will lead and mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring project goals are met.
• Customer Management : You will act as a key technical point of contact for clients, translating customer requirements into technical specifications and ensuring the delivered solutions align with their mission needs. This is not a project manager role but requires a strong customer-facing presence.
• Project Owner : You will manage your project's agile development cycle including creating, tracking and managing issues, reviewing merge requests and handling day-to-day oversight of your development team. You will report to the program owner candidly about progress, potential issues, and roadblocks.
