Our motion control group is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team to help develop new products and provide engineering support to address production issues and customer technical challenges. We strive to make Copley motor drives the most innovative in the industry and employ a wide variety of electrical, mechanical and software technologies to achieve that goal.

The ideal candidate is a team player who is interested in bringing innovative products to market and in developing their skills for designing compact, efficient, cost-effective electro-mechanical products.

Responsibilities :

• Support senior mechanical engineers in the design of new motor drive products to meet product specification and cost requirements
• Create designs and implement changes in SolidWorks as directed and create individual part drawings and assembly drawings in accordance with Analogic standards.
• Create bills of materials and engineering change orders using Agile (Product Lifecycle Management tool) to fully document production-ready designs
• Conduct performance, design verification and similar tests and author test reports to document results and conclusions
