Job Title : AP Mechanic Job Location : Wichita KS 67206 Onsite Requirements : A&P License Cessna, Beechcraft, or King Air Experience Aircraft Maintenance Job Description : You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Responsibilities : Mechanical Duties : Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery. Engine and Airframe Maintenance : Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines. Use of Tools and Equipment : Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies. Skills and Qualification : High school education or GED required. A&P License required. Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required. A minimum of 3 year's experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft / flight maintenance. Preferred experience in a customer service facility performing inspections and repair of aircraft. This client is a US Federal Government contractor and is legally required to hire US Citizens.
