Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room Registered Nurse Location : Rochester, NY 14626 (Western New York nursing jobs) Unit : Emergency Room (ER) Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : Night shifts, 4x12-hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1870-$2000 Patient Ratios : 1 : 5, mixed / shared acuity levels Orientation : 16 hours Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience (ER nursing jobs) Active New York Registered Nurse license (NY RN jobs; must be in hand at submission) Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Experience with EPIC charting (clinical support) Open to first-time travel nurses Willingness to float to other units as needed Ability to work every other weekend Applicants must reside at least 75 miles from the facility ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction / failure Administer blood products, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation Perform central line care / management, phlebotomy, and start / maintain IVs Apply isolation precautions and manage patients with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and more Float to other hospital units as required by census Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC (clinical support) Enjoy working in a modern healthcare facility with top-tier resources and a diverse patient population.
