We are looking for a TREC licensed home inspector to join our growing team! You'll inspect clients' properties, flag any damage for repairs, and compile your findings into a detailed report. - Flag specific repairs that might be needed, so homeowners can improve the property before it is sold
- Write a detailed report following each inspection that includes photos and specific descriptions of any damages observed
- Provide a description of suggested repairs, along with a range of potential costs associated with those repairs
- Go through residential homes top to bottom to evaluate any repairs that need to be made
- Assist home buyers with any other requests regarding the home inspection to keep open lines of communication and adapt to meet their needs Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive home, phase, and specialty inspections (mold, thermal, pool, foundation) that meet or exceed TREC standards.
- Capture clear photos, voice notes, and on-site findings using our Spectora template.
- Communicate findings to clients and real-estate partners in plain language, supporting our culture of education and transparency.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and personal PPE in safe working order; report any safety or warranty issues promptly. Qualifications :
- Experience with residential property maintenance, including plumbing, electric wiring, HVAC systems, security alarms, and more
- Must have solid customer service skills and communication abilities, verbally and in written form
- Attention to detail is critical in the role for both inspections and for reporting purposes
- Can manage a variety of projects at once and stay organized
- Familiar with basic computer software and use of email technology Must-Have Qualifications Active Texas Professional Inspector (TREC) license with 1+ years in the field and = 100 fee-paid inspections completed.
- Clean driving record, valid driver's license, reliable vehicle that can fit a ladder, ability to lift 50 lbs, and access roofs / crawlspaces.
- Tech-comfortable.
- High S / C DISC profile (detail-oriented rule-follower who values consistency) is a plus.
- Mold technician, TDA technician, septic certification, or drone certifications welcomed—but we'll train the right inspector. Compensation : $23 - $34 hourly
