We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Controller to join our team in Edmond, OK. As the Automotive Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our automotive business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with automotive industry trends and financial best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive industryStrong knowledge of financial management principles, GAAP, and automotive industry financial practicesProficiency in automotive accounting software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds) and advanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling in the automotive sectorIn-depth understanding of automotive supply chain and manufacturing processesAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining internal controls and ensuring regulatory complianceAdditional Information
