Licensed Practical Nurse - UI Health Care North Liberty Pediatrics Clinic 80%

The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 80% (32 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC North Liberty Pediatrics Clinic. This position will mainly support our Pediatrics Clinics but could float to other patient specialties / clinic locations including but not limited to : Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and / or Specialty / Outreach Clinics.

Duties to include :

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
• Current valid driver's license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards

Percent of Time : 80% (32 hours per week)

Schedule : Variable hours Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. No weekends, on-call time, or holiday shifts required.

Location : North Liberty, IA. (or surround clinics based on clinical need or hours)

Pay Grade : 11

Salary : $44,557.92 - $66,377.52 (at 100% time) (based on years of experience)
