Our Dierks, Arkansas lumber mill has an immediate opening for Production Supervisors. These are full-time, salaried exempt positions that provide excellent growth potential and opportunity for advancement. Our state-of-the-art mill produces high-quality lumber used for residential construction throughout the Southern USA. Key Functions :

As Production Supervisor, you will lead a shift of hourly associates to achieve excellence in safety, quality, and production. You will also be responsible for safely planning, organizing, delivering operational objectives, and coordinating with maintenance to drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

The role is responsible for :

• Providing daily leadership and oversight of hourly production employees
• Ensuring the safe and efficient execution of work
• Role modeling safe work practices and facilitating team meetings & trainings with assigned team
• Ensuring proper job and safety rules are understood and followed
• Identifying safety, environmental, quality & production issues and incident investigation and follow-up when safety or environmental incidents occur
• Meeting production standards and goals
• Developing and training associates including coaching, mentoring and performance management
• Supporting training and development plans to improve skills, knowledge and team performance
• Supporting the improvement of key performance indicators and continuous improvement of operational functions and for department budget cost effectiveness
• Leading the team by proactively resolving employee issues, encouraging teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner

Compensation : This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $68,371-$102,556 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement : Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation : We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
