Job Details :

• Coverage needed for Dec 5 at 7A-Dec 8 at 7A and Dec 27 at 7A-Dec 31 at 7A
• Duties include rounding on newborns, performing circumcisions, handling phone calls from ED, and ED consults
• Occasional stabilization and transfer of high acuity patients
• Provide care to pediatrics primary clinic patients
• Manage 1-5 patient encounters per shift in a facility with 296 annual births
• Must be capable of non-invasive ventilation management (neo-puff)
• Experience with acute ventilation management for both newborns and pediatric patients
• Proficient in intubation (ETT / NT) for both newborns and pediatrics
• Skilled in UVC and UAC procedures
• Ability to perform lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and needle pneumothorax
• X-ray and EKG interpretation required
• Suturing minor lacerations as needed
• Perform circumcisions and swallow studies
• Must have current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Active Missouri medical license required with clean NPDB and background check
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
