What Youll Need

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program (required)
  • Active Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) certification in School Psychology
  • Completion of a supervised internship in a school setting
  • National Certification (NCSP) preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated good moral character and a clear criminal background check
  • 2+ years of school-based psychology experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual candidates strongly preferred (especially Spanish-English)
  • Previous virtual / teletherapy experience is a plus
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated home workspace

You'll work remotely to provide evaluations, counseling, consultation, and participate in IEP / 504 planningwhile on-site teams handle coordination. What Youll Do

  • Deliver virtual psychological services : assessments, counseling, and consults
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
  • Contribute to IEP / 504 meetings and eligibility determinations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Comply with FLDOE standards and documentation requirements
  • Use digital tools to keep students engaged

    • Licensing & Credential Highlights (Florida)

  • Florida certification in School Psychology requires completion of a specialist-level program, passing the Florida Subject Area Exam (or Praxis equivalent), and internship experience

  • NCSP holders or out-of-state practitioners may be eligible through reciprocity
