Financial Analyst, FP&A

The Financial Analyst, FP&A, will play a key role in supporting the financial planning and analysis function within the organization. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality financial insights, forecasts, and reporting to drive strategic decision-making. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate across departments, particularly in a pharmaceutical environment.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for core financial systems, including SAP and BI, providing guidance and support to various teams.
  • Partner with business functions to understand key drivers and support financial decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Support Gross-to-Net (GtN) forecast and close process, including analyzing rebates and chargebacks, commercial and government contracts, and other relevant GtN discounts.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations between actual transactional data and corresponding accrual assumptions to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
  • Leverage tools such as SAP, Tableau and Power BI to streamline reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 23 years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • In addition to the minimum qualifications, the employee will demonstrate :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skill with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
