Tax Associate
The Tax Advisor is responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to clients, conducting tax planning sessions, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of tax-related matters, including income tax, estate tax, gift tax, and other tax planning strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive tax reviews and assessments for clients to identify opportunities for tax optimization and risk mitigation.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits for clients.
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Expected to complete a minimum of 150 client tax returns each tax season.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate updates and implications to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on integrity, professionalism, and trust.
- Collaborate with other members of the tax advisory team to share knowledge, best practices, and insights to enhance client outcomes.
- Assist with tax-related projects and initiatives, providing expertise and support as needed to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Essential Skills :
Expertise in tax, tax return, accounting, income tax, and tax accounting.Proficient in tax preparation.Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance.3-5 years of experience in tax preparation for individuals and / or businesses.Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Experience of at least two tax seasons with the same company for remote roles.Ability to complete a high volume of tax returns, 100+.Opportunity for growth in multiple departments outside of just the tax team.Job Type & Location :

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00 / yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
