About The Position

Job Title : Cardiac CT Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (09 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 2 years' CT Technologist experience

License : State licensure required

Certifications : ARRT certification in CT, BLS

Must-Have :

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
• Proficient in CT imaging procedures and protocols
• Strong technical proficiency with CT equipment
• Detail-oriented with analytical skills
• Effective under pressure, maintaining quality care
• Team player with good interpersonal skills

Description :

Operate CT equipment to generate diagnostic images.

Prepare patients, ensuring comfort and explaining procedures.

Review images for quality, following protocols.

Maintain patient records and equipment functionality.

Adhere to safety and infection control policies.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals for accurate diagnostics.

Average daily census of 18-20 CT scans per shift.

Involves adult and geriatric patient populations.

Handles all types of cardiovascular disease diagnoses.

Special procedures and unit details include various CT scans.

Utilizes Siemens Naeotom Alpha CT Scanner.

Skills required include adult acute care, ICU experience, and preparation of contrast media.

Must have knowledge of radiation safety and ability to perform multiplanar reconstruction.
