REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Core EM procedures including intubation, laceration repair, splinting, and central line placement

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active Louisiana license

ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS

Minimum 2 years in Emergency Medicine

BC / BE in EM, FM, or IM (no alternative boards accepted); EMR training required prior to orientation

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care to patients of varying acuity

Perform necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

Work collaboratively with NP / PAs and clinical staff

Manage patient flow and care in a 5-bed emergency department

Accurately document clinical activities using EPIC EMR

Complete all onboarding and orientation as required by the facility
