DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, the CCL Radiology Technologist operates digital radiological imaging equipment in accordance with Title 17 regulations and departmental protocols. The technologist performs and oversees quality control procedures and ensures adherence to all radiation safety principles and practices.
This position is responsible for scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and the OR Hybrid Room. The technologist assists nursing staff in preparing patients for procedures, ensures the proper functioning of all imaging and interventional equipment, and demonstrates thorough knowledge of human anatomy and hemodynamic monitoring.
Additional responsibilities include recording procedural events, performing hemodynamic calculations, operating digital processing equipment, and maintaining quality control standards. The technologist also participates in performance improvement activities, assists with patient transportation as needed, and fulfills on-call responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
California Radiology Technologist - Fluoroscopy (CRT-F).
Registered Technologist for Radiography issued by ARRT (R.T(R)(ARRT)).
BLS / CPR and ACLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date.
Two years minimum experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Demonstrates knowledge of computers and new technology such as Computerized Radiography (CR) and Digital Radiography (DR).
Working knowledge of Radiology Information system (RIS), and Hospital Information System (HIS).
Has training in another modality that the incumbent can provide cross coverage during normal scheduled times or during expected / unexpected staff scheduling issues.
Ability to deal tactfully with people and develop good working relationships.

Annual Full Pay Range : $144,845 - $144,845 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent : $69.37 - $69.37
