• Detroit Lakes, MN - 40m from Fargo, ND Full time, permanent opening Employed position Joining another Internist and 6 FPs in a beautiful Lakefront community of 10,000 Primarily an office-based practice in space connected to the hospital. Option to follow and treat patients that are admitted to the hospital or elect to have them treated by a Hospitalist and referred back to you post-discharge. Anticipated weekly work schedule : 8-5, M-F plus call rotation. Back-up call (by phone only) filtered by ARNP or PA. Anticipated volume of office patients per day : 15-22 / day Provide IM support to Hospitalist covering an 8 bed ICU and 16-bed M / S unit in the only Hospital in the County. Average daily census of unit : ICU = 4; MSP = 15 Detroit Lakes, MN -Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area on scenic Detroit Lake.-1 hour from Fargo (international airport / shopping) and 3 hours from Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN.-Detroit Lakes population : 10,000-Excellent school system and reasonable home costs.-Abundant family outdoor recreational activities year-round.-NHSC Loan Repayment Site
