Job Location : Hop & Wine Beverage LLC Chantilly, VA

Starting Salary : $19.00-$22.00

Hours / Week : 40 Hrs Per Week; May vary upon season

SUMMARY :

This position is primarily responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse by performing the following duties below.

MAIN TASKS / JOB DUTIES / GOALS :

  • Reports to Director of Logistics
  • Start time of 6 : 00am until end of shift (no later than 4 : 00pm)
  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or pick list to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
  • Sorts, places, and stacks materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined specified location
  • Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
  • Marks materials with identifying information as needed
  • Opens pallets, bales, crates, and other containers
  • Records amounts of material or product received
  • Coordinates with Forklift Operator in arranging product for shelving
  • Assists in maintaining cleanliness of warehouse
  • Assists in pulling employee sale contents, sample orders, and customer pick up orders
  • Operate trucks to move to loading docks
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager

    • JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

  • EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in on-on-one and small group situations to customer, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Minimum Skills : Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and with measurement, volume, and distance.
