Operations Manager Position

More operations focused than sales

Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL - South

Facility details : Full service - full service, cut shop, grind, chicken and fresh fish, frozen specialty, box in - box out - capable of producing and selling nearly every item

Team : around 225

Size : 90k - in process of opening a new fish room, would be running 2 buildings

P&L : 240 million

Direct reports : Assistant GM 6-8 Direct reports

Primary responsibilities - team building, setting the culture and handling issues that contribute to the P&L

Top qualities they're looking for :

Servant leader, about the employees, be there for them, remove roadblocks, good communication, not afraid to make decisions, decisive, basic knowledge of P&L and finance

Ideally 5 years of GM experience preferred but not required

10 years mgt. experience required

Strong leadership development

Experience managing P&L - 100-200 million preferred but open if they have less

Bilingual preferred

Meat and / or seafood background, at least basic understanding required

5 days in office in the facility

Compensation : Target Compensation $220k - $225k base + 40% bonus based on scorecard - 70% your plant and own personal criteria - 30% overall - (subject to change) LTI 20%
