Job Details Location : Tennessee Start Date : Dec 1, 2025 LOA : 30 days Provider Type Needed : Neonatology Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Flexible; preference-based scheduling; previous locums worked a combination of 12- and 24-hour shifts; 40 hours per week or more (no overtime coverage) Responsibilities and Duties Manage surgical cases and provide care in a NICU Deliver advanced neonatal care alongside two NNP teams and a resident fellow team Care for neonatal patients Participate in team-based care Handle critical care responsibilities, including neonatal resuscitation and pediatric advanced life support Collaborate with other nurse practitioners, residents, and fellows to ensure quality patient outcomes Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to clinical protocols Additional Information At least 3 years of NICU experience required Must hold Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) board certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Tennessee or hold an eligible license Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
