We are looking for an experienced Residential Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial plumbing, including installation, repairs, and maintenance. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Technician Plumber to help coordinate our field operations and support our growing team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Dispatch daily service calls and assign jobs to technicians based on skill, availability, and workload.Communicate with plumbers throughout the day to monitor progress, provide guidance, and ensure timely completion of work.Serve as backup plumber for service calls or installations as needed.Operate and oversee use of specialized plumbing equipment on larger or complex jobs.Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field.Ensure jobs are completed to company quality and safety standards.Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical support to field staff.Collaborate with office staff to coordinate scheduling, customer updates, and job documentation.Maintain equipment readiness and oversee proper use of tools and machinery.Support training of new technicians and apprentices.Maintain organized records of service calls, work performed, and materials usedAdhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while performing plumbing workUtilize field management software (HouseCall Pro) : dispatching, customer communication, pricing estimates, on-site payments, financingStay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practicesRead blueprints and drawings to determine layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste drainage systemsKeep work van clean and organized with proper inventoryRequired Skills and Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED certificateMinimum 5 years of residential plumbing experience operating independently out of a service van.Previous dispatch or team lead experience preferredExperience operating larger plumbing equipment (jetters, skid steer, trencher, mini excavator, camera system, well pulling, etc.)Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record (MVR) with reliable transportationPre-employment drug testing and background checkStrong technical knowledge of residential plumbing systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues accurately and efficientlyProficiency in using plumbing tools, equipment, and materialsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer servicePhysical ability to perform plumbing tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periodsWillingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunitiesE04JI802i78j407oz6f
