Position Overview :

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Accounting Analyst to support our finance and tax operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, sales tax compliance, and effective cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities :

Sales Tax Operations & Compliance

Ensure accurate reconciliation between ERP and Sales Tax systems on a daily basis.

Maintain and verify customer exemption certificates to support compliance.

Prepare and file timely and accurate sales tax returns for assigned jurisdictions.

Address and resolve customer inquiries related to sales tax discrepancies and filings.

Financial Reconciliation & Reporting

Perform monthly bank reconciliations to support financial accuracy.

Analyze cost center activity to inform financial reporting and decision-making.

Accurately post cash transactions to appropriate accounts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Data Integrity

Partner with internal departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of data used in sales tax reporting and financial processes.

Requirements :

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or tax-related roles.

Familiarity with ERP systems and tax software is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.

Excellent communication and problem-solving

abilities.

Salary Range : $65,000 - $70,000, eligible 7% annual bonus
