Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a General Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and a current California license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a 212-bed acute care hospital within the general ultrasound department
  • Day and night shifts available with 3x12 hour schedules and variable start times including 5 : 00, 6 : 00, 7 : 30, 13 : 00, and 17 : 00
  • No floating between like units required, but must be willing to float between facilities within the state if necessary
  • No on-call or block scheduling
  • Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience required or preferred
  • Patient population consists of general radiology and cardiology cases
  • Must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
  • Approval of all requested time off is based on facility needs, and all RTO must be included at the time of consideration
  • Free parking is provided
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Orientation includes pre-start and annual online modules
  • Former staff may return after 3 months; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

  • Minimum 1 year of recent ultrasound experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Active and valid California state license required; no temporary licenses accepted
  • Must provide two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts as scheduled
  • License required if applicable
