Education and Experience :
Must have high school diploma or GEDPrefer some experience working with the IDD populationMust have valid TX driver's license and be insurableJob Purpose :
Must demonstrate a concern for the rights, privileges, and dignity of individuals servedProvides daily programming, training, direct care, and supervision to individuals servedWill provide direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual disability, mental illness, or substance abuseMust have understanding of the diagnosis of Intellectual Disability and its impact on personsJob Function :
Will implement treatment plans, crisis intervention, documentation, and supervising medicationsWill maintain individual care in a safe, therapeutic and professional mannerMust be able to administer CPRMust be able to consistently and accurately perform the documentation tasks as assignedWill demonstrate flexibility in adapting to a situation in which frequent interruptions are inherentMust be able to transport in Center vehicles both out of town and in townMust be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and over night shiftsThis Organization Participates in E-Verify
