Responsibilities Work in a cardiac catheterization and special procedures lab Patient care includes adult cardiac and interventional radiology populations Duties include administering contrast, assisting physicians during invasive procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and supporting inventory management Rotates as scrub and monitor technologist during procedures 4x10 hour day shifts (Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM-6 : 00 PM) On-call requirement every third weekend (Friday through Sunday) and 1-2 weekdays Float to all procedural areas as needed Epic EMR experience required Duties include administration of contrast and medication within scope, patient assessment for allergies, equipment troubleshooting, and accurate documentation Expected to provide for patient care, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures Maintains a clean, organized environment and anticipates procedural needs Strict compliance deadlines for onboarding requirements All travelers must provide 30-day advance notice for assignment cancellations Assignments may not exceed one calendar year from start date; a 30-60 day break is required before returning RTO (requested time off) may not exceed 7 days per 13-week contract No travel partners accepted and only one submission per candidate within the health system Requirements Current ARRT (R) certification and IEMA Radiography License required BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association are required Associate’s degree in a related field or certificate in radiologic technology required Minimum of 1 year of cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology experience required Neuro interventional and EP experience preferred Experience with Epic EMR required Level 1 trauma experience required Ability to take call after 6 months of orientation License required if applicable Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-593637.
