KPMG is currently seeking a Temporary Systems Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator for a nine-month assignment to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure
  • Coordinate installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases
  • Work directly with users to prioritize requests and regularly update them on progress and estimated delivery timeframe
  • Coordinate support escalation communication; contribute to project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation
  • Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management, and escalation processes; provide on-call production support including off-hours and weekend support
  • Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of recent experience operating in a large enterprise environment with understanding of systems at scale; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux operating systems and working knowledge of SANs
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS platform administration is a plus; strong troubleshooting skills using Windows OS tools (Event Logs, Perfmon, NetSH, PowerShell)
  • Ability to automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Python; experience deploying software across the server estate
  • Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and ServiceNow is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
