What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in mapping and quality assurance processes across multiple code setsSupport product release schedules, resolving mapping issues and contributing to complex tasksIdentify and implement improvements in mapping quality and efficiencyManage complex customer inquiries and participate in cross-functional discussionsCreate and deliver interdepartmental presentations and training materials on mapping-related topicsWhat is Required (Qualifications) :
Extensive experience with US-based code sets : ICD-10-CM / PCS, ICD-9-CM, CPT, and HCPCSOne of the following credentials required : RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPCMinimum of five years’ experience with medical records coding, electronic health records, and medical terminologyExperience with claims edits, payor denials, and / or risk-adjustment codingProven leadership experience, including mentoring peers and contributing to cross-departmental initiativesHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
Associate or bachelor's degree in health information management systems or equivalent experienceStrong conceptual and critical thinking skills, with the ability to lead discussionsForward-thinking mindset, with the ability to identify emerging trends and guide others in risk assessmentEffective communication skills, capable of fostering shared understanding across departmentsDetail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to achieving high-quality resultsWe prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
