Forklift Operator

We are seeking skilled forklift operators to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing and warehouse setting. You will be responsible for operating an electric sit-down forklift to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a sit-down forklift for approximately 95% of the shift.
  • Load and unload trucks using the forklift.
  • Utilize scanners and maintain knowledge of inventory systems.
  • Work with warehouse racking systems equipped with 'Track Racks' which are sliding tracks.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
  • Proficiency in material handling and forklift operating.
  • Experience with RF scanners and inventory management.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to comply with GMP standards.
  • Wearing appropriate safety gear such as 6" steel toe boots, hair net, and beard net.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines including no jewelry, fake nails, or loose clothing.

    Work Environment

    This position is located in a food manufacturing environment with shifts available from 5 : 00 am to 3 : 40 pm or from 1 : 30 pm to 12 : 00 am. The majority of your time will be spent on the forklift, with some time off the forklift scanning pallets and packages.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50 / hr.
