job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDistinguishes proper communication method with each interaction (phone, email, face to face) Acts in a professional manner at all times Aware of client's expectations (deadlines, deliverables, client protocol, information flow) Clearly articulates requests and questions to client; takes notes to avoid repeat requests / questions Maintains high level of organization (open items listing, PBC list, client files) Reads prior year financial statements and client's website and actively seeks out information from team members to gain understanding of client's business and industry Plays a key role in execution of audit engagement from planning to wrap-up Takes initiative to identify best practices and improvements for the next year; considers applicability of best practices for other clients Takes the initiative to be a team player (seeks out opportunities to help others) Serves as a mentor to peers and develops loyalty and trust with team Successfully adapts to different personalities and working styles Communicates with team and clients in a professional manner; asks open-ended questions in a tactful manner and communicates engagement status responsibilities on a timely basis Holds self accountable for assigned work; seeks continuous feedback Takes ownership of personal career goals and seeks out mentors, coaches, and advisors within Condley to help achieve aspirations Attends recruiting and firm events to build practice Meets charge hour and realization expectations Understands importance of budget and the monitoring of it; has basic understanding of realization and margin Identifies out of scope work : communicates to proper team member in a timely manner Communicates client concerns / problems to appropriate team member and provides input for appropriate response Aware of Condley's business lines (tax, audit, etc.) and client service capabilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products and Assurance tools Works independently under general supervision and control to complete and properly document assigned workpapers and audit program steps; makes recommendations within scope of responsibilities Develop understanding of risk assessment process and applies knowledge in completing related forms in the front of file; understands the impact of risk elements on audits Takes initiative to understand and apply available resources and Condley's guidance and policies Responsible for understanding the interrelationship of accounts within transaction cycles to appropriately apply audit procedures Applies understanding of the complete audit cycle from planning to deliverables, and executes appropriate methodologies and audit procedures Identifies, analyzes and evaluates discrepancies uncovered while performing audit procedures and makes recommendations for resolution Analyzes financial information and prepares basic financial statements (including footnotes) Retains learning / knowledge from one client to the next; continuously applies and builds on prior learning; seeks and identifies opportunities for developing efficiencies in audit work Uses problem solving and analytical skills to interpret and evaluate information and ensures the client's explanations are appropriately documented Applies an appropriate level of professional skepticism in performing audit procedures, and takes an appropriate approach when interacting with clients Demonstrates self-awareness of personal strengths and development areas Demonstrates awareness of Condley's risk management policies and procedures (e.g. client confidentiality, client acceptance) Displays problem-solving skills and effective, insightful and timely communication skills Good team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn; displays initiative to take on new work outside of comfort zone Consistently produces a high-quality work product Interact with Associates, Seniors, Managers, Senior Managers and Partners Daily interaction with clients Learn more about the various service lines - what we offer as a firm Attend planning meetings and actively participate in risk and fraud discussions Take initiative to request exposure to new audit sections and stretch assignments Seek exposure to multiple teams / people / work styles from which to learn Industry-related training Study for and take CPA exam Read information provided by Condley and profession to stay current on accounting and auditing guidance Networking : community and professional organizations, alumni programs, professional networking websites, etc. Identify mentor(s) take ownership of career

Minimum Entry Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with appropriate accounting hours
