As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Access Control in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and / or visitors.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activities.Observe and report any irregularities, including equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and / or any security-related concerns encountered during shifts.Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and support emergency response efforts.What We're Looking For :
