The Project Analyst provides technical, administrative, analytical, and document management support to capital projects for teams for efficient processing of requisitions to support purchase of goods and providing routine document processing and retention services. The individual is responsible for entering system requests and coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services (e.g., raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, shipping services, W / O services). They will ensure the asset information forms are completed for assets acquired for the project. Additionally, take a leadership role in organizing project close out document and transferring documents into document retention systems. This individual will be available to train team members submitting forms and completing asset information documentation for retention.

Education Level : High School Diploma / GED
An equivalent combination of education and work experience
Associates Degree ( 13 years)
Bachelor degree is preferred, but not required

Experience / Background : Minimum 3 years - minimum 3-5 years in project accounting, administration (or similar) experience.
Position requires computer system skills in SAP, Maximo and an understanding of capital asset purchasing requirements. Position requires computer system skills in SharePoint and other documentation collection software packages. Understand of capital project closeout requirements. Effective customer service skills to interface with all levels of internal and external Abbott personnel. Strong organizational skills to handle many data inputs and issues concurrently. Ability to deliver specific user training for project teams and project management skills are also required for this position. Analytical and problem solving skills associated with data preparation, process improvement and the management of multiple diverse systems required. Incumbent must possess comprehensive understanding and demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications; document management software and computer based systems. - Knowledge of basic project accounting principles - Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software.
The base pay for this position is $22.05 $44.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
