Customer Support Specialist

Location : O'Fallon, MO

Schedule : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM | 100% Onsite

Job Description :

We are seeking a proactive Customer Support Specialist to manage purchase orders, resolve delivery issues, and maintain strong customer relationships. In this role, you will work closely with warehouse, sales, quality, and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment while supporting key aerospace programs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review and process customer purchase orders in ERP / Cardex systems and customer portals
  • Monitor open and critical orders, resolve issues, and prioritize shipments
  • Expedite urgent or complex orders through cross-functional coordination
  • Manage customer claims, RMAs, credit / rebills, and assist with cash collection efforts
  • Track part usage, demand, and performance metrics to maintain pipeline health
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding customer needs and strategies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience in customer support or program management
  • Hands-on experience with SAP / ERP systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be a U.S. Person for export compliance (Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee)
  • Background check required prior to start
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in aerospace hardware sales or customer support
  • Knowledge of the aerospace / aviation industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in numeric reasoning and data analysis
  • Additional Information :

  • Shift : 1st Shift | 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Overtime : Not expected
  • Travel : None
  • Physical Requirements :

  • This is primarily an office-based role requiring extended periods of computer use
