Haywire, a new restaurant in Memorial City, spans over 17,000 sq ft and boasts several private dining rooms along with a captivating outdoor area. Set to be a highlight of Houston's dining scene, Haywire offers a dynamic atmosphere for unforgettable experiences. Position Overview :

Haywire is seeking Servers to provide outstanding service and create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role demands a passion for hospitality and the ability to deliver service that exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create unique Texas-sized experiences for our guests, ensuring satisfaction at every turn.
  • Develop and retain comprehensive knowledge of our locally sourced menu to answer guest questions and offer recommendations, including the perfect wine, whiskey, or hand-crafted cocktail.
  • Act as a Tour Guide, leading guests through their dining experience with insights into our Farm to Fork philosophy.
  • Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered timely, maintaining high standards of service.
  • Perform opening, mid-shift, closing, and side work duties to keep your area clean and organized.
  • Process payment transactions courteously and efficiently, inviting guests to return.
  • Embrace the role of the perfect host, rooted in southern hospitality, to build regular patronage.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 1 year server experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine-dining establishment.
  • Knowledgeable in food, wine service, and the stories behind our menu.
  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, with a proven work ethic.
  • Team player, punctual, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must meet state's serving age requirements; TABC Certification and food service certification as required.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to dining room setup and service.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
