Senior Internal Auditor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team at a leading enterprise organization. This role plays a critical part in evaluating and improving the company’s risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. The Senior Internal Auditor will work cross-functionally with business leaders, providing insights that drive compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute complex financial, operational, and compliance audits across business units.

Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

Identify control weaknesses, gaps, or inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.

Develop detailed audit plans, conduct testing, and prepare clear, well-documented workpapers.

Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Support management in implementing corrective action plans and monitor progress.

Assist in enterprise risk assessments and annual audit planning.

Mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and technical expertise.

Stay current on regulatory requirements, auditing standards, and industry best practices.
