Senior Manager, Predictive Modeling (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Auto Pricing Director within the Product Actuarial and Data Science Division, you will lead a team of analysts focused on personal auto insurance. You will develop models for telematics, vehicle / symbol rating, and underwriting models. This role is necessary to influence the direction of personal auto pricing coupled with collaborating with cross functional stakeholders. Ideal candidates have prior auto pricing insurance experience as well as modeling experience.

Position Compensation Range :

$147,000.00 - $250,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

• You will oversee the creation of vision and strategies, along with business application and modeling framework for new datasets and discovers insights and relationships from large / complex datasets.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and application of state-of-the art scientific solutions for addressing business questions.
• Manage the delivery of research findings to cross functional partners to help manage our performance and operations.
• You will lead the exploration of data using a variety of advanced techniques to identify relationships, create insights and answer business questions or guide future model development.
• You will oversee the build of hypotheses and identification of research attributes to determine the best approach to address business issues.
• Provide senior level support in the area of strategic analytics, to identify business opportunities, and optimize our performance.
• You will create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion as well as work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support ongoing development.
• Lead with influence and expertise. Contribute to division or department leadership team. Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values and practices.

In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office. Candidates should reside within approximately 35-50 miles from one of the following office locations : Madison, WI 53783, Boston MA, 02110 or Eden Prairie, MN 55343.
