Apidel Technologies is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Clinic Family Practice for a local contract job in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.

Position- Family Nurse Practitioner

Location- Cedar Grove NJ 07009

Contract- 05 months contract with higher extension possibilities

Shift- 30-40hrs / week, days may vary; Clinic Hrs. Mon-Fri 9a-8p, Sat 9a-5 : 30p, Sun 9a-4 : 30p

Note - Float to clinics within region

Position Summary :

  • \tMinuteClinic Nurse Practitioners will work in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidenced-based care to a panel of patients.
  • \tThe clinical care team will work with the provider daily to drive better outcomes for entire panel of patients.
  • \tThis will include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
  • \tThis role will report to the practice manager.

    • Duties :

  • \tProvide Primary and Family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
  • \tProvide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening / closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.
  • \tBe responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
  • \tPerform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
  • \tEncourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management.

    • Experience :

  • \tMaster’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • \tA minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in either a family medicine or primary care practice preferred.
  • \tIf not, successful completion of Minute Clinic primary care training program.
  • \tWorking knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions.
  • \tSelf-motivated, prioritizes and solves problems, takes initiative, and advocates for their patients and their practice.
  • \tEffective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
  • \tOutstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • \tInitiative, problem solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • \tAbility to work remotely in a clinical care team culture.
  • \tAbility to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
  • \tIs proficient with information management and technology.
  • \tWillingness to obtain multi-state licensures.
  • \tCapacity to collaborate with professional colleagues frequently to ensure quality patient care.

    • Education :

  • \tMaster’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
