Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Social Media Copywriter and / or Humor Writer to join our in-house creative team in Medina, OH. This role is about crafting sharp, witty, and emotionally resonant copy that cuts through the noise. Whether it’s a punchy tweet, a clever caption, or a satirical script, you know how to make words work hard—and fast. The ideal candidate is fluent in internet culture, has a strong comedic voice, and understands how to write for impact across platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Write compelling, platform-specific copy for social media posts, campaigns, and video scripts.
  • Develop humorous and engaging content that aligns with campaign goals and brand voice.
  • Collaborate with designers, editors, and strategists to bring ideas to life.
  • Monitor trends, memes, and cultural moments to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Contribute to brainstorms and pitch creative ideas for social-first storytelling.
  • Adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal teams and clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience writing for social media, digital campaigns, or comedic content.
  • Strong grasp of tone, timing, and voice—especially in short-form writing.
  • Ability to write quickly, clearly, and creatively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of internet culture, current events, and social media trends.
  • Passion for storytelling, satire, and creative activism.

    • Nice-to-Haves :

  • A portfolio or social media presence showcasing your writing chops and comedic voice.
  • Experience working in creative agencies or freelance environments.
  • Background in journalism, screenwriting, comedy, or digital media.
  • Familiarity with political or advocacy-related content.
  • Skills in video scripting or punch-up writing.
  • Ability to write across formats—from tweets to TikToks to long-form captions.
