Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to oversee a corporate office located in Rye. Position is : Full Time. Work shifts available : 12am - 8am Sun - Thurs. Workdays available : Candidates should be flexible Monday Sunday. Pay rate : $19 - $20 / hour. Must exhibit great customer service skills, will be interacting with the general public on a daily basis and interaction with client and staff.

Responsibilities :

• Perform security patrols of grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required
