  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Nursing Shift : 12 Hour Nights (19 : 00-07 : 00)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed)\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend and as needed\n
  • Number of Beds : 13\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 7\n
  • Electronic Health Record : HMS / Medhost\n
  • Dress Code : Any solid color scrubs\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680-$1800\n

    • \n\nRN Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee\n
  • ASN degree or higher\n
  • BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications ("Handle with Care" certification required after hire)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience (3+ years preferred)\n
  • Experience with CIWA / COWS protocols preferred\n
  • Ability to provide patient care for adults and geriatric patients (occasional 17-year-olds)\n
  • Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment start\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients with substance abuse, behavioral health conditions, and medical comorbidities\n
  • Perform bedside shift reports, briefs, debriefs, and unit checks\n
  • Establish IV access and administer medications including valium tapers, subutex, vivitrol, and rescue medications\n
  • Assist with bedside procedures (e.g., PICC lines, midlines) as needed\n
  • Document patient care accurately using HMS / Medhost EHR\n
  • Float to other hospital departments as required\n
  • Maintain compliance with facility standards, audits, and healthcare processes\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and safety\n
  • Uphold a positive, solution-focused attitude and contribute to a respectful work environment\n
