Credit Analyst

Location : Greenfield, IN (On-site first 6 months, then open to hybrid)

Compensation : $50,000 - $65,000 (up to $75,000 for experienced candidates)

Bonus : Eligible based on company and individual performance

About the Opportunity

A well-established community bank is seeking a motivated Credit Analyst to join their growing team. This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical skills who's interested in learning the ins and outs of commercial lending and credit underwriting. You'll receive direct mentorship from the Chief Credit Officer and have a clear path for advancement into a Senior Credit Analyst position.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite credit applications for commercial clients including real estate, agricultural, C&I loans, lines of credit, and other business loans

Run credit reports and perform financial due diligence for new and existing clients

Analyze business and individual financial statements , calculating cash flow, debt service coverage, and key balance sheet ratios

Collaborate closely with lenders to finalize and structure loans

Assist with portfolio management , ensuring ongoing risk monitoring and credit compliance

What You'll Bring

Required :

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting , or 3-5+ years of credit analysis experience

Preferred :

Experience within a financial institution or community banking environment

Exposure to commercial lending (as opposed to consumer or mortgage lending)
